Have you ever felt like you're not quite yourself? Maybe you've experienced moments where your nervous system seems stuck, as if it's been on lockdown due to stress or traumatic experiences. If so, you're not alone, and there's a way to find relief.

In a recent conversation, I spoke with someone who described this exact feeling. They shared how their nervous system felt stuck, likely because of the stress they had been enduring. Oftentimes, when we go through challenging circumstances like accidents or trauma, a part of us, a fragment of our energy, or even a piece of our soul can disconnect from our body. When this happens, our nervous system goes into a heightened state of stress, leaving us feeling far from ourselves.

But here's the good news: there are steps we can take to reclaim our sense of self and calm our nervous system. In this blog post, I'll guide you through four essential steps that can help you restore balance, clarity, and peace in your life.

Step 1: Clearing Your Chakras

Our chakras are vital energy centers in our bodies, and there are seven main ones. To begin the process of restoring harmony, set a clear intention to clear and balance your chakras. You can enhance this process by using a Tibetan bowl, which emits frequencies that are effective in chakra cleansing.

Step 2: Clearing Your Space

The environment we live in can sometimes carry negative energies or lower frequencies that affect our well-being. It's crucial to regularly clear your space. Set your intention to call upon the highest source of energy, characterized by unconditional love, to clear and purify your space.

Step 3: Calling Back Your Soul Fragments

Now, it's time to retrieve the part of you that may have left your body during stressful times. In a deeply relaxed state, set your intention to welcome back any soul fragments or energies that may be outside of your body. Ask for them to be rinsed, cleared, and cleansed, and returned to your body.

Step 4: Energetic Protection

To ensure lasting peace and well-being, call in energetic protection as your new normal moving forward. This will create a shield of safety and grounding, allowing you to navigate life with a sense of calm and equanimity.

If you've ever struggled with feeling like your head is just exploding with too many negative thoughts then I thought it might be helpful to share a technique that I use everyday and also teach to my clients.

It's called Dissolve the Wall, and it is a strategy that I have designed to combat and alchemize negative thoughts and turn them into the positive.

The first step is to become aware that we are having a thought that is not serving us.

The second step is to forgive yourself for having that thought.

The third step is to send yourself unconditional love.

The fourth step is to change the thought to the opposite.

The only thing we ever have control over is ourselves, and our thinking.

When we begin to harness the power of our thoughts our external life begins to change because everything external is a reflection of what's going on internally.

It's a tool that we can use that helps us to remember that these thoughts that I'm thinking they're not serving me!

Unconditional Self Love For Female Empaths

We have two stories going on when it comes to unconditional love.

The first story is the one that we get as children. It is imprinted in our bodies as a resonance.

The second story is the adult conscious story of love: get married, have kids, live happily ever after.

Which is actually a fairy tale.

Okay then what even is unconditional love?

The exciting news is now that we can see the illusion of both stories we can create our own version of unconditional love!

Yes we can! And this is the gateway to freedom.


It can be really easy when we get on this self-discovery journey to feel like we have to do all the things all the time.

That's just not true.

What that does is it spins us out and actually creates the opposite effect.

We think we're not doing enough.

What I like to recommend is that you begin to develop a spiritual routine that is manageable and you can stick to everyday.

Add it on to your to do list and make sure you give yourself a big check mark when you have done it. Feel proud of yourself for doing something good for you, and give yourself positive words of congratulations when you have done it!

Learning self forgiveness, and living sober, with emotional triggers is crucial in maintaining sobriety, and staying sober. In sobriety knowing what to do when I am triggered is super important.

The other day I was feeling super triggered. What that feels like in my body is my forearms get super tight and my whole nervous system felt like it was under attack.

The techniques that I like to use when I find myself in these situations really helps get to the root of self-sabotage and addictive behaviors, so that we don't have to reach externally for something when we feel this way.

Here are the 5 STEPS that help me when I feel triggered.

  1. Stop what I am doing and find some time and space alone.

  2. Close my eyes and start to breathe. Either in and out of the nose or out of the mouth, with no pause or gap between the inhale and exhale.

  3. Go into the body and the discomfort.

  4. Ask it what it needs.

  5. Do what it says. (as long as it is healthy and for your highest and best good!)

This technique has been life changing for me and my clients. It truly deals with the root cause of the trigger.

5 Steps to Self love as Empaths

When I first started writing and began to put it out there all I could hear in my head were negative voices.

My inner critic was running wild with negative comments.

I mentioned my fears to a friend, "what if no one likes what I have to say?"

What she replied changed everything for me.

She said, "what if your writing really helps people Polly?"

This possibility that my writing could actually help people, gave me the courage to say, "okay, even though this feels really scary, I am willing to put my writing out there."


Being loving and kind to ourselves may feel like a weird and foreign concept in the beginning but without self love and acceptance we may:

>>>>struggle to trust ourselves and others.

>>>>undervalue and disrespect ourselves which can lead to financial scarcity, being underpaid and working in unfulfilling jobs.

>>>>>feel like we are not contributing to life at our full potential which leads to feeling guilty and bad about ourselves which continues the spiral of self sabotage.

>>>>>hide our true gifts, play small and not speak our truth due to lack of confidence in ourselves, or fear of rejection or ridicule.
